Dr’s K-meet Pre-Event Seminar: Practical Workshop on Company Research & Self-PR for PhDs

We will be holding the Dr’s K-meet Pre-Event Seminar:
“Practical Workshop on Company Research and Self-PR for PhDs.”

This event counts toward event participation requirements (Content List No. EA007).

In this workshop, participants will learn through lectures and hands-on exercises how to structure their research details and technical expertise, reframing (“translating”) them into clear concepts that corporate representatives can easily understand. Using their completed worksheets, participants will also engage in group discussions to exchange feedback and ideas.

Please note that the seminars will be conducted in Japanese.

研究成果を論文として記述する力と、研究の意義や可能性を企業・社会の文脈に即して説明する力は、関連しながらも異なる能力です。企業就職を考える際には、研究内容を正確に説明するだけでなく、「その研究がどのような課題に関係し、どのような価値を生み得るのか」を、相手に伝わる言葉で翻訳することが重要になります。
