Introduction

“Program for Development of Next-Generation Front-Runners with Comprehensive Knowledge and Humanity” and ”Program for Development of Co-creative Experts towards Top-level AI Research (Science Tokyo BOOST)” will offer financial support for doctoral students who are willing to contribute to the development of science, technology and innovation in Japan after completing the doctoral program and those who wish to independently choose their own career path.

We have prepared videos explaining the application process and each program. Please refer to them along with the Application Information below. Please note that the explanatory videos for each program were produced for a previous recruitment round, and information such as the eligibility criteria, application period, and expected number of successful applicants may be outdated (the content regarding the support itself remains accurate).
