We would like to inform you of an important update regarding Off-Campus Study Plus, the travel support program offered by Science Tokyo Support Program for Doctoral Students.

Off-Campus Study Plus has supported various academic activities, including participation in international conferences. However, the number of applications so far this fiscal year has significantly exceeded our initial projections. Consequently, it has become difficult to continue providing support under the current framework. We sincerely regret to inform you that, starting with applications submitted on or after today (May 1, 2026), the screening criteria will be revised as follows:

As clearly stated in the program guidelines, once the annual budget has been fully allocated, we will close all application submissions regardless of their content. Please note that conference participation may still be supported by your research funds.
