1. Program for Development of Next-Generation Front-Runners with Comprehensive Knowledge and Humanity[SPRING Enrollment FY 2026]

< Amount of support>

・Research Incentives (equivalent to living expenses): 2.16 million yen per year (180,000 yen per month)
・Research Funds: 300,000 yen per year
・Support for travel expense for Off-Campus Study

< Eligibility and Expected program slots >

　Those who enrolled in Science Tokyo’s doctoral program (in Science and Engineering Fields*1) in April 2026.
　　　　・50 slots (expected number)

2. Program for Development of Co-creative Experts towards Top-level AI Research

< Amount of support>

・Research Incentives (equivalent to living expenses): 3.60 million yen per year (300,000 yen per month)
・Research Funds: 300,000 yen per year
・Support for travel expense for Off-Campus Study

　Those who enrolled in Science Tokyo’s doctoral program (in Science and Engineering Fields*1) in April 2026.

・The support may be cancelled or the details of the support and obligations of the supported students may be changed due to budget constraints or review of the program.
・This recruitment is strictly for the doctoral students who enrolled in the Doctoral Program (Science and Engineering) in April 2026. There is no recruitment for currently enrolled students.
・It has not yet been decided whether or not the program slots offer in advance will be conducted for the students who wish to enroll in the doctoral program at Science Tokyo (Science and Engineering fields) in April 2027.
・This recruitment is for those who enrolled in Science Tokyo’s doctoral program in Science and Engineering Fields*1
