Nihongo Space, run by the ILA-Japanese Section, is held on the Ookayama and Suzukakedai campuses. We offer a variety of engaging opportunities, including conversation practice, personal tutorials, and Japanese self-study table.

Main Activities

  • Conversation Practice: You can practice and enjoy Japanese conversations with Japanese students and senior international students. No reservation is required; feel free to join anytime.
  • Personal Tutorials: You can receive support for academic report writing and career-related Japanese, including assistance with documents like reports and entry sheets, and practice for job interviews in Japanese. You can also consult about Japanese learning methods. Reservations are required.
  • Japanese Self-Study Table: You can join Japanese self-study table for previewing and reviewing Japanese lessons, as well as for practicing Japanese characters, JLPT preparation, and other Japanese study purposes.

Special Events!

Nihongo Space also hosts a variety of events, including the biannual Welcome Coffee Hours, JLPT Mock Test, and cultural experiences like Hinamatsuri, Tanabata, and Kakizome. Through these events, you can deepen your understanding of both the Japanese language and culture.
